Concept Art for a new robot mech I’ve been working on. I designed his head to look similar to a Corinthian helmet but retain a robotic look. His neck is a bundle of wires that lead throughout the rest of his body.
His leg body is designed to be light in appearance, but ominous at the same time. However the arms and legs are bulky to show strength. The right arm has a large electrified chain attached to it and can rotate 360 degrees. It has more articulation than a human arm with 4 points rather than the 3 in our wrist, forearm, and humerus. The left arm has 2 points of articulation but is much bulkier to form a shield for protection.
The legs are modeled after a velociraptor for speed, agility, and jumping ability. The legs can fully collapse to allow the mech’s waist to touch the ground. They are run off of an internal hydraulic system which builds massive amounts of pressure to enable him to jump up around 30 feet maximum.
The mech’s overall height is about 10 feet and weighs around .5 tons.
